vLSO 0.8.2.4

Guys,
This is mostly a fix of that nasty false CASE3 bug. I hope I've finally nailed it...
Also, in the process another couple of glitches was spotted and fixed. So, now the program looks like it should two versions back. Anyway, another step forward ;-)

  1. Thanks for the quick fix, appreciate all the hard work on this great tool that we have to make the FSX environment that much more real.

  2. Looks like, this time, the bug has actually gotten nailed FSXNP.

Am happy to report that, for a change I didn't experience that nasty 'address space' error also. It was a nice hour of CV traps.

Thanks for taking care of it.

  3. Works great with non-acceleration FSX. Did get a few floating point error messages, though they were non-fatal. Have not tried Case 3, yet.

  4. I'm not sure what went on but things went haywire on my first trip in. I did a SHB run and at the 90 I heard the vLSO say "looking good" then in the background I could hear windows error messages. The LSO was silent the rest of the way in and no vLSO messages were displayed. I closed down FSX and vLSO was still running with hundreds of error messages on the screen saying

Access violation at address 004BB023 in module 'vLSO.exe'. Read of address 00000008

Once I quit FSX I hear "99 your taxi light is on" from the vLSO.

    Any ideas?

  6. Here's a short checklist:
    1. ZipLip button up?
    2. COM channel matches the frequency set in VC?
    3. The Sound folder is within the vLSO main folder?

  7. Ziplip button ON? Is this correct?
COM channel matches WHAT frequency set in VC? Is there a frequency I was suppose to enter in my VC radio?
Sound folder is in main folder....I downloaded the complete folder.....

    Is this correct?

  8. ZipLip is OFF
COM* is ON (no matter what freq is set in the VC)

Then, when approaching the boat, check your gears (should be down)

  9. And forgot to mention checking the LSO audio device - if you have two audio cards, make sure your speakers are connected to the right one

  10. This is what I have.....

    Ziplip is OFF.....
    COM* is ON
    Gear Down approaching the boat...
    LSO device is set correctly.......

I can only get Carrier ATIS voice and I do get LSO text commands...but no voice....

    Anything else???

  11. What is 'Carrier ATIS'? '99' calls or what?

  12. Carrier ATIS.......ex: Case1 recovery....BRC....99.....yes.

  13. Javier check to see if you have "manual ball" call selected. If so, you need to manually call the ball (as per the directions). Try switching to auto ball call.

  14. I think, it's something else. If his 'manual ball call' is set to manual, he should still be hearing the Wave Off Pattern calls.

  15. Manual is set properly..............yesterday I installed version 8.1.....and NO voice calls...its something else causing my problem and I have no idea what it is....im on the verge of a full re-install and clear out whatever it is causing issues..its just vLSO..I have other problems with controllers forgetting assignments after every start up......oh well......

  16. just a small request/suggestion, in the next version could you add a small button somewhere on the UI that will open the manual?
I have vlso saved as a shortcut, but each time I want to check the manual for something, I need to go look for it in my files. It would be great if there was a shortcut built into the Vlso program.
    Thanks
